Best accelerator for developing disperses colour prints on polyester by loop steaming / thermo fixing. The addition of the DYESOL gives 15 - 25% higher colour value depending upon the chemical nature of the colour. These can also be used for leveling when printed goods are to be developed by HTHP steaming.
---PHYSICAL & CHEMICAL PROPERTIES---
1. Colourless to pale yellow transparent liquid
2. Almost colourless.
3. Dilatable with water to any extent. pH of 100/0 solution is 6.5 - 7.0. 4.
4. Nonionic in nature.
---APPICATION---
1. Make the gum paste as usual.
2. Add citric acid or any suitable acid to adjust the pH to 5.0 - 5.5. 3. Add 0.5% of DYESOL in above gum for prints to be developed by loop ageing as an accelerator. Add 0.15% of DYESOL to the above gum as the leveling agent if prints are to be developed by HTHP.
3. Add predispersed colour in adequate quantity of water and mix well to obtain desirable depth and tone of the shade.
4. Print, dry, and loop age / thermo fix / HTHP as usual.
5. Wash, dry and finish as usual.
---MACHANISM OF DYESOL---
DYESOL acts as a hydrotropic agent, dissolving the colour in itself and then getting dissolved in aqueous phase, this reduces the particle size of the disperse colour, making it easier to penetrate. After printing and drying, DYESOL forms the near most layer to the polyester because of its affinity to the same. Disperse colour dissolves in this layer and transfers to the polyester, giving better colour value. DYESOL when used in discharge prints, give improved clarity of the discharge effects.
DYESOL fixes more amount of colour, leaving less amount of free colour to be washed off in subsequent process. This reduces the colour load in washing giving more probability to obtain tint free, brighter prints.
---GLYDOX---
Glycol Ether (Liq)
Fixation accelerator for printing with disperses dyestuffs.
Improve the colour depth and ease of removal of prints with disperses dyestuffs on PES and CT if fixation is done with dry heat or HT steam.
Application Amount : 10.0-25.0 g/Ltr. In the print paste.
pH Value : 9.0-10.5
Ionic Character: Non-Ionic.
